It has been a hard 5 days fishing in Zululand but fortunately Richards Bay always delivers when it comes to species. The 4 new species this trip include my first Karanteen in YEARS, Dory Snapper, Bluefin Kingfish and a stunning Crescent-tailed Wrasse. We were in Mtunzini for two nights before Richards Bay and fished the banks but the rip was unbelievably strong and we didn't catch a thing. One day I will come to Zululand and settle the score with a Diamond Skate, a Honeycomb Stingray and a few other non edibles! I have heard that winter in the harbour is pretty good for Garrick and so I am holding thumbs that we can turn up a few in July!!

Current total as of this post is 56 species
