In march I did yet another trip to Richard's Bay to try and clean up some of the species I am missing up north. Most of my trips to Richard's Bay have been toward winter or spring and so a late summer trip was on the cards. The weather wasnt on our side and I ended up missing out on all of the non-edibles I was chasing. However, I managed a few species that I have been after for a while including Longfin Trevally, Evenfin Pursemouth, Sand Steenbras, Devil Firefish, Shrimp Scad and Smooth Blaasop. With Pelican Island now being a lot harder to access we had to fish other spots around the Bay. I am still holding out for a good trip to Hlabane and a couple of morning's at South Pier. This trip was also awesome in that it was the trip that took me to 71!
