From the 3rd to the 25th of October, my family and I will be in Namibia. Besides the obvious site-seeing, I will be fishing there for the first time. I have visited fairly often but flying in has not allowed for me to fish. This time we are driving and so it should be epic! I have swapped out my Assassin Evo Zero 6-8oz for an Assassin Horizon Zero XH. This is for a few reasons but the primary reason is the spigots make the rod feel better in the Horizon and it seems to have a more even curvature. I will be pairing this with my Stella 14000.

My target species in Namibia are very specific. Broadnose Sevengill Shark (Cowshark), Spotted Gully Shark, Bronze Whaler, Bluntnose Guitarfish, Galjoen, St Joseph Shark and West Coast Steenbra.
